I’m excited to announce that Periphery Synthetic will be participating in the Access-Ability Summer Showcase 2024 on Friday, June 7, 2024. Please tune in at 10:00 AM CDT for the livestream on Twitch to celebrate accessibility in games—and the upcoming games which champion it. Following the stream, there will be a special sale on Steam which features the participants.

To celebrate the event, an exclusive demo of Periphery Synthetic will be available for download on Steam. It includes many of the new features coming in the full release, including fully remastered audio, new navigational audio cues, collectable trinkets, and unlockable milestones. It also includes handfuls of other new features, enhancements, and fixes. Be aware that any progress unlocked in the demo will carry over to the full release.

I’m especially grateful to Laura, the founder of Access-Ability, for making this possible for me. I had planned to create an in-depth trailer, which discussed the features and announced a release date for the EP, and submit it promptly. However, the deadline quickly eclipsed my ability to deliver, and she stepped up without hesitation to ensure it was included anyway! I can only hope that the extra time this afforded me ensures that this is the best and most accessible version of the EP yet.
