v0.12.0
S.E.A. » Devlog
Today’s progress resulted in the first feature-complete build of S.E.A., including:
- preventing the arrow keys from scrolling overflown data tables when their items are selected that way
Spoiler Warning
- improving treasure generation with a greater variety of prefixes and values
- persisting scanned but uncollected treasure between saving and loading the game
- improving the look and feel of the gallery screen
- reworking the treasure audio cue to be more interesting
- adding directional cues to treasure so it's easier to locate within 3D space
- designing a pleasant audio cue for when treasure is collected
- improving the sound and transitions of underwater drones
- decreasing the difficulty of finding treasure with a scan
With the remaining days I hope to polish the experience, submit the game to No Video Jam, and begin outlining a post-mortem that I will publish on my blog.
